Our First Donation!

Yesterday, December 18th, North Pole Parcel Co. completed our very first donation to the Scottish Rite campus of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

We donated 100 teddy bears dressed in medical-themed outfits, including nurses, doctors, and surgical staff. When choosing the designs for these bears, we wanted them to feel comforting and familiar to children spending time in hospitals and medical environments. The softer colors, simple uniforms, and gentle expressions were all chosen intentionally. We hoped the bears would feel less like toys on a shelf and more like friendly companions.

Some of the bears wear light blue scrubs, others wear pink nursing uniforms, white lab coats, or dark surgical scrubs. Together, they almost look like a small teddy bear hospital team. As we packed and organized them for delivery, seeing all 100 bears together was a moment none of us will forget.

In the weeks leading up to the donation, one of our biggest concerns was whether we would be able to complete everything in time before Christmas. Between organizing the donation, preparing the bears, and coordinating delivery details, there were definitely stressful moments behind the scenes. Being able to successfully deliver all 100 bears before the holiday season made the moment feel even more meaningful to all of us.

North Pole Parcel Co. itself started very simply. A small group of four board members came together with the shared goal of creating something that could bring comfort, warmth, and joy to children through thoughtful gifts and donations. At the time, this organization existed mostly as conversations, sketches, ideas, and late-night planning sessions. This donation marks the first time those ideas became something tangible that could directly reach children and families.

We are deeply grateful to the staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite for the work they do every day for children and their families. It was an honor for our organization’s very first donation to go toward a place that has helped so many people throughout Georgia and beyond.

As North Pole Parcel Co. continues to grow, we know we will look back on this moment often. These first 100 bears represent the beginning of our mission, and this blog post marks the first chapter of what we hope will become a long story of giving, community, and compassion.

This is only the beginning for North Pole Parcel Co., and we are excited for what comes next.
